Shelby is the kind of person who knows how to build, repair, and figure things out. A true jack of all trades, he owns and operates his own mattress retail business while also working in construction, paving and sealcoating, and handling automotive repairs on his personal vehicles. However, the most important thing he has worked to build is a life grounded in faith, family, and purpose.

 

As a father of four amazing children, Shelby understands the responsibility of showing up for the people who depend on him. His personal journey through addiction and recovery has also taught him that rebuilding a life takes honesty, hard work, support, and a willingness to keep going—even when the road is difficult.

 

Shelby serves as a leader with BrandNEW Recovery, where he uses his experiences to connect with others without judgment. He knows recovery is not always a straight path, and he believes people need a safe place where they can be honest about their struggles while still being reminded of what is possible.

 

His faith in God has been an important part of his growth and continues to guide the way he serves others. Whether he is working with his hands, providing for his family, helping lead a BrandNEW gathering, or encouraging someone who feels stuck, Shelby believes that God can take what feels broken and use it to build something new.
