SABRINA HUFFMAN
Sabrina is a mother, student, and leader with BrandNEW Recovery who is passionate about helping people break the cycle of addiction and recognize that their current circumstances do not have to determine their future.
After spending two years incarcerated, Sabrina understands what it feels like to reach rock bottom, have nothing, and face the difficult process of rebuilding a life. That chapter helped shape her compassion for people who feel judged, overlooked, or unsure whether a better future is possible. Her story is a reminder that mistakes do not have to define a person forever.
Sabrina is currently earning her degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling and working toward becoming a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor. She has completed professional training in Medication-Assisted Treatment, harm reduction, overdose prevention, person-centered care, suicide-risk monitoring, Cannabis Use Disorder, and Mental Health First Aid. Through her education and work with BrandNEW, she has developed a strong understanding of addiction, recovery, and the importance of meeting each person where they are.
Her faith in God is at the center of her desire to serve others. Whether she is leading a discussion, planning an event, offering encouragement, or simply taking the time to listen, Sabrina wants every person who walks through the doors of BrandNEW to feel welcomed, valued, and supported. She believes that with faith, the right support, and a willingness to keep moving forward, it is never too late to rebuild your life and become BrandNEW.
