Alyssa is passionate about following Jesus and living a life surrendered to God and His calling to serve others. She has a heart for outreach, teaching, and creating spaces where people feel seen, loved, and encouraged to grow in their relationship with God.
Through her work supporting individuals with mental health and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) challenges, Alyssa has learned the importance of meeting people where they are, listening without judgment, and seeing the person beyond their struggles or circumstances. This experience has shaped her heart for people and has shown her how important compassion, patience, community, and genuine connection can be in someone’s journey.
These same values are a big part of what draws Alyssa to Brand New. She believes that recovery is about more than overcoming addiction—it is about discovering hope, rebuilding relationships, finding identity and purpose, and learning that your past does not have to determine your future.
Alyssa is especially passionate about supporting women in Brand New and coming alongside them with encouragement, honesty, and compassion. Her hope is to create a space where women know they are seen, valued, and never too far from the love and grace of God.
